A friend is college introduced me to her a few years ago. Seems like pretty innovative stuff to me. I have no idea why she isn't more popular, at least among guitarists.

I think there are a few reasons:
1. She does not do any of the speed stuff that metal heads like.

2. Her style is not easy to imitate, so guitarists can not connect with her.

3. She is a woman. Many guys are still sexist and expect women in music to dance and look pretty , not play the shit out of their instrument.

I love her music, she is one of the few guitarists that still explores new frontier.

Exploring frontiers to say the least. She seems so interesting and I'm glad she does her thing and hasn't become whored to the masses. She's what happens when one stays gold.
