Aen and his crew at Dwarfcraft Devices are working on a new distortion pedal dubbed the Abaddon. Early word is that the distortion tone is reminiscent of the company’s Robot Devil pedal minus the subs. The prototype has four knob controls – Volume, UHF, Starve and Interruptor. From those labels, one can conclude that the new stomp will be vintage Dwarfcraft… layering in both subtle and not so subtle effects across a tasty distortion circuit. Color us intrigued! More on the Abaddon when we have it. For now, take a closer look at the prototype pedal after the jump!

Well, what I found was that Abaddon has a lot of meanings, but the root of it "abd" roughly translates to "a place of burning" (Thx, Wikipedia) But abaddon has been attatched to a lot of things over the years, from another word for Hell, to a specific demon, or the devil himself.
