Ever since I saw Bobby D's demo, I have been wanting a Cosmichorus. And now I can haz one! Holy crap these things are awesome. And really versatile - so any suggestions as far as settings and whatnot are greatly appreciated. I've found a few cool sounds so far, including something close to flanging - but I know it's gonna be awhile before I get the hang of it.

The Cosmichorus does have a bit of a learning curve I guess hey... it covers a lot of ground. I can suggest some settings though! (For these settings, a knob all the way down = 0% and all the way up = 100%) And remember the volume control, the ramp symbol, only works on the wet signal. Also, the bottom toggle switch sets the range of the clock setting which affects how dramatic the chorus signal is, the middle position is the lightest, left is more dramatic, and right is very dramatic.

BOSS VB-2 vibrato setting: Mix - 75% to 100%, Treble - 75% to 100%, bottom toggle switch - middle position, Clock (the swirly) - 0% to 25%, Rate and Volume - how you like. This gives you a nice clean and clear vibrato effect and you're hearing just the wet output of the chorus chip, if you have Mix set 100%, true pitch vibrato.

Light flanger setting: Mix - 50ish%, bottom toggle switch - middle or left position, Clock - 0% to 25%, Volume - 50ish%, Rate - how you like.

Dark, thick chorus setting: Mix - 50ish%, bottom toggle switch - left position, Clock - 50ish%, Treble - 0% to 50%, Volume - 75ish%, Rate - how you like. (Turn this into a bright chorus sound by turning the Treble all the way up.)

Weird extreme pitch-bending: Mix - 100%, bottom toggle switch - right position, Clock - 100%, Volume and Rate and Treble - how you like.

Weird ring-mod sounds: Mix - 100%, bottom toggle switch - try all 3 settings, all sound cool, Clock - try all settings, all sound cool, Rate - 90% to 100%, Volume and Treble - how you like.

These are my favourite settings, the settings I go through when I test every CC and get to enjoy each one a bit since I don't have one of my own. *looks down and kicks a rock*

That looks amazing. I can't wait till i have saved enough bones to get one. Question though, how easy is the paint to chip? I'm afraid that I wouldn't take this one around with me in fear of destroying it's beauty.

ok seriously, how do i get one? I've been chorusless for like a month now and it's killing me, and ryan does awesome everything and GAH I WANT IT.

leastwise: Indeed that is a white Twosome - tis uber awesome in looks and sound. Kyle has always been super nice about custom color stuff. I had to wait a while to get it, but it was totally worth the wait.

Eric!: I emailed Ryan and asked nice about picking my finish and whatnot - he was more than happy to whip one up and have his minions ship it to me. Seems like a good place to start if no dealers have them in stock right now

thezeng, the way Tanya finishes the pedals keeps them pretty safe from chips... there's a thick clear layer of vinyl that gets wrapped over the whole box when it's done and then the box gets heat-gunned and cured under a heat lamp for a day. It's not invincible or anything like that but we don't think it's fragile at all, it won't just chip or flake off like painted pedals sometimes can.
