I cant' wait for it to get here.
Do you guys prefer to run it before or after your fuzz?

I don't own one (though it's on my wish list) but usually pedals like chorus, flangers, tremolos, all the modulation stuff goes after the dirt/fuzz pedals. Experimentation is the key though and there really isn't a right or wrong answer. Putting it before dirt might make the output volume of your dirt/fuzz pedals pretty inconsistent and hard to tame though (especially in a recording environment).

Cool. Right now, I have a Nano Small Stone in front of my dirt. I've recently experimented with putting it after my dirt and it does have a different feel to it.
I can't wait to get the Whetstone. I've been GASsing for this pedal for some time now. I finally bit the bullet and bought one.

Awesome! You should love it when you get it. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Congrats!
Before or after dirt is purely a preference thing. Before tends to be more subtle and after is more in-your-face (how I like it).

My Whetstone came in today. I can't wait to get home and try it out. My rig is going to rock.
My Twosome and Whetstone will rock the party.

So, Kyle, where do you like the sweet spot for the internal gain pot? I've never used an internal pot before but i assume they work the same when looking at them. Left to right is low to high.
But, let me say, I do get some awesome phaser tones out of this baby. I'm just trying to maximize capability.

We set the trimpot so that the user is able to go just a bit above unity gain with the outer level pot close to 3 oclock, but it can depend on the particular mosfet in your unit. We weren't going for boost or anything, just flexible level matching.
Personally, I like to make it a hair hotter and a little bit dirtier. It can go even louder, but things will get progressively nastier.
