found this les paul copy on craigslist and was wondering if it was worth buying.
"I have a custom electric guitar I don't play anymore. It started as a Gibson Les Paul copy with sunburst finish. I had all the hardware replaced with OEM Les Paul Hardware and has a custom neck made. It is a slim, fast neck, like a Jackson or Ibanez, not the thick Gibson or Fender type. I also had the rear pickup replaced with an EMG active pickup. The guitar plays and sounds awesome. Over $1000 into it. "
i emailed the guy and he's only asking 350 for it...

lol same here, and i'd probably end up modding this thing myself. i've got a JB humbucker that i would love to put in a les paul, and this thing actually looks pretty cool for the money...

Hell no.
Unidentified LP copy (potentially anything. Epi, counterfeit, etc.) with a replaced neck (who knows if it was set or not, how well made the neck is, if it's in properly, etc...), and an EMG, which likely needed some routing somewhere.
I wouldn't pay $100 - let alone $350 for it.

Idk man, I'd play it first, if you dig it then yes, do it up.
If not then don't
if you genuinely like it then it's a good price for what he's selling

Though that sets off a shitton of red flags (why would you replace the neck? EMGs, really? Why arbitrarily replace it with OEM hardware?) that questions the sensibility of the seller, it looks fucking sweet.
