This may have been covered, I'm recent,... Is there a pref? I for one find Last to find almost everthing I love to a better degree than that other... I find that Girls in general seem to like Pand better.? Is it a cuter name or what?

I like Last.fm but I primarily use it for the charts, not the radio. I have found some interesting things through them, though.

I used to use pandora a lot when I would go to sleep, just for the changing jams. Found a few cool bands that way too I guess. Didn't mess with anything else it had to offer

i don't use Last.fm and i've never heard of Pand. i don't have a need for last.fm i still can't figure out what function its serves aside from hipsters letting other hipsters know what they're listening to on the computer.

kind of agree. Pandora charges for full content and last is free. if you make an account you can listen to and find alot of different bands that it "groups" together. if you feel like an hour of space-kraut, or minimal-dub, or chillwave, or shoegaze it'll usually play a great mix of new and old and sometimes new to me bands... it takes a min for it to "figure out" what you like but there is a ton of stuff on there from seemingly every genre. it also let's me know when shows I like are coming to Austin.

i just use last.fm to keep track of what i've been listening to, look at what my friends are listening to, and get recommendations for new bands. it's not hard to figure out what it's useful for
