Amp won't power up?

Not mine. I've got a JC120.
But I was looking around on craigslist and found a pretty sweet little head that won't power up. I'm like Fred Flintstone when it comes to this stuff, so what could be some possible problems and how hard could this be to repair?

Yeah... could be a hundred different things or one trivial issue, without a good knowledge of amp repair... probably not a good idea, especially if it's tube with lots of high voltage danger.

i'd go for it...
alot of time it's something simple.
but if it's the tranny, you're boned.

You may want to grab that. Those polys fetch a good bit in working shape.
