I'd go blue. How much more is he asking, because you're going to need a case at some point anyway. I think that the finish also suits the guitar much more than a sunburst finish. I'd just see if the guy would be willing to meet you somewhere closer. At the very least tho if you are traveling 2 hours for it he should knock some of that gas money off his asking price.
