Thou speaketh blasphemy and shall burn in hell.
They only play Simply Red and Flock of Seagulls in Hell.
But Boy George will sing for you there if you beg.

How about this for a weird opinion:

I love Led Zeppelin, but I agree that Jimmy Page is one of the most overrated guitarists in music history. He's just so fucking sloppy.

And Kurt Cobain was a model of articulate virtuosity?
I def don't mind a bit of sloppiness in a player if they're creative with it -- Hendrix was loose, Jimmy Page sure is -- nothing more boring (to me) than listening to someone like John Petrucci or Steve Vai, which is like listening to a machine (or someone shoving a bunch of turkeys in a sack ... think about what that would sound like, then try to sing a shredder solo). As an extreme, I'd rather hear Ron Asheton or John Lee Hooker than some guy doing flawless sweep picking at 200 bpm...
But each to their own right? Don't like something? Pretty easy to just not listen to it no?

I use to but then I got a job where 99.9 The Rock Of Seattle [Or as I call them The Crock Of Shit-attle] in on all the time and so now I hate many bands I once liked...

he was freaking wasted

and sorry blur bro but zeppelin is pretty fucking fantastic. they have a lot of bad songs, and they have a lot of really great songs. led zeppelin was one of the first really popular bands to lay down retarded amounts of guitar tracks on one section of a song. i'm pretty sure a lot of the dudes on this forum can respect that. and jimmy page is just awesome. i always loved his style. he played on a lot of songs that he was uncredited for, too.

I guess Jimmy Page is okay, consider he has his guitar hang low

I don't understand why some young kids think Wolfmother & Jet play the greatest music on earth.
while they think Led Zeppelin is totally "uncool".
I don't get that.

I've grown out of a lot of their music but songs like How Many More Times were great influences in how I play guitar.

And I love my Zeppelin I-IV vinyls.
