Saw this guy last week, and dude blew my mind! Bought a few of his records too, all of which have been excellent so far.

I dig it! I think Robert himself was digging it too, he went trance mode on us.
Any one want to make an entirely vocals+effects band?

For his set the other night he had a little suitcase modular and some kind of effects on his vocals. He got the modular kind of droning and then went off into these real sustain-y feedback-y ghost-voice haunted howls for about 30-40 minutes. With the below projected behind him, all sloooooooooooowly swirling and changing:
So sweet.
