i'd like to put together a new pedal board soon, and was wondering what people's opinions were on the best way to connect and power pedals up? i think i had the george L "make your own" cables a long time ago. right now i have a 9 spot for power... i know there's a lot of differing opinions on 9 spot vs. isolated power supplies. what do you all think? what are the best patch cables and power supplies for a pedal board? quality, sound, AND real estate space all count.

Those are my favorite cables. They're cheap and great for tight spaces cause they're super flexible. And they sound fine to me.

And as far as 1spots go, I'm currently using 3 on a power strip to power my board
I've heard people complain about hum and noise and blah blah blah, but I've never noticed any noise whatsoever. And besides, even if there IS noise, nobody will be able to notice it when you're playing live.

I use a combinaton of onespot and a pp2+

For patch cables I have lava solderless but I got those at a discount/for free. They are expensive but nice.
If you're handy with a soldering iron grab some neutrik plugs and some evidence monorail and make your own.

I use a godlyke powerall with 12 spots on it for mine and it works fine.

Patch cables I use are very similar to the ones posted above but just cheap ones form ebay and they work great as well.
(Dont get thick patch cables)
