Has anyone used the blackout effectors fix'd fuzz? I've just sold mine as I couldn't really justify having it since I only really liked the second fuzz mode on it, and for the price, that's just excessive. So can anyone think of a fuzz which has sounds similar to it (fuzzhugger or otherwise)? It's a glitchy, velcro-ish fuzz with a nice thick bassy punch to it. An almost-but not quite a sub-octave tone that really cuts through. I've got a EQD dirt transmitter that might be able to get those sounds once I get a chance to sit down and mess about with it, but does anyone have any suggestions from experience?

i have only played a fix'd fuzz at fat tone guitars for a few minutes so i really cant say but...

that sounds like a fuzzhugger velcroar or velcroscillator, if you like oscillation, to me!!!

Devi Ever Disaster Fuzz or Mellowtown MiniWolf CPU also sound like what you're looking for.

Fuzzhugger Phantom Octave could be worth checking out, too.

Look up some fuzzhugger arc flash demos... when you dime the gain in both modes you get a similar sound to what your talking about.

Plus you get a whole bunch of usable tones in between!

Devi US has glitchy velcro as well.
