OK, so I'm having a hard time deciding on a new amp. I was looking at getting a dual 15" cab for $200 and then getting a mixer for $220 used
(Phonic Powerpod 820 Mixer) or a Kustom Deep End Series 200HD Bass Head for $300. I don't know if i should do that because that is about $500 for serious punch or get a Peavey Tour TNT 115 Bass Combo (600watt Peak, not RMS) for $500. I really want to get a Sunn Concert Bass though.... If you guys have any better suggestions or opinion please post it. Thanks

I was looking at Bass amps over the last while as an alternative to a guitar amp and I have to say a lot of the current selection are a little dull and unimpressive. Though that said you can get away with SS way more readily than with guitar.

I don’t really know about the Kustom head, It looks ok.

You can get an Acoustic B200h Head for $250. They sound very good and would give you the full 200 watts into a 2x15 cabinet.

If you really want Sunn Concert, why not just wait and save your money.
