Not with non-strat trems no. Broncos are sexy as hell though. There's one selling on shortscale.org for like $500.

I have a black one that was built in 1976. It was my first guitar. It is all beat to hell and non-functioning now. I took a screwdriver to it during my punk days so it is all scratched up in a very unattractive and in no way cool or desireable manner. An ok guitar. Weird and not so great trem design that is unique to the Bronco.

Mine looks like this one if it were completely trashed.

Luckily for you, black is the easiest color to fix if it's scratched. A sharpie, some CA glue, and fine sandpaper is about all you need.

Broncos are hardtail, are they not?
What about a tele with a bigsby or one of those 90's Ibanez's?

Awsome guitar. I hear the trem is worse than any other one in existence though...

I've got a Bronco and have played it for years and for me, that goddamned trem is a complete and utter piece of crap. Weirdly stiff but also kind of loose and klanky at the same time. :erm: Won't stay in tune. Hard to set up and intonate. I am not saying you might not love it and think it is the finest trem you have ever played. :thumb: As always, YMMV! :) I still love the guitar, though. :omg: Nice and jangly. :hello: Short scale is nice and loose and bendy. Great for my twangy, scratchy, bendy, chaotic manner of playing. :trippy: Going out of tune can have a bit of charm to it when you embrace it.

I need to get mine back in a nice playable state. :excellent: Years of abuse have put it in a tough state. :picard:

Surely it's not the one with the phillips screwdriver puncture wounds all over it? Looked like someone played lawn darts with it.
