login..default back to board index

Maybe this has been covered..but let's say I'm not logged in and reading a post...I go to reply to the post, and it's asks me to log in..I do, and bam..I'm back to the board index instead of continuing on into the reply...just a bug in the software?

Since you're initially logging in, there's no history of where you've been prior to login.
So the computer greeter says "oh, pothole! it's you! welcome! let me take you to our board index at the front of the store!" and doesn't realize you were just browsing in cognito over in housewares.
or something.
