Just ordered a Hexe Bitcrusher!

This will be my first foray into the world of crushing. Anyone else get one? I know they got some discussion a couple of months back.

I'm curious as to the satisfaction of both of you. Cheaper is better, but you usually get what you pay for, not to say that the cheaper is actually cheaper. I just imagine less functionality.

that wrong side of uranus looks pretty hip too! Kinda like a geiger counter with the digital display. Hexe is kinda $$$, but i had a little extra cash so ftw! It is my most pricey pedal purchase to date. I'll keep everybody posted on it. Piotr is very prompt and courteous.

Should be here from Deutschland in about 10 days.

denhamt,
no sweat I was just teasin ya
let me know how you like the hexe once you get it. I myself am with scotts bitcrusher on my second bitcrusher - I had a bugbrand bitcrusher08 (thats right, one of the big ones), but it was just too manual for me. I think for guitar (and maybe other live use) I need some kind of automation inside the pedal. thats why I looked (and bought) at scotts creation. Also - this pedal seems to be a lot less gentle than the bugcrusher. An angry bitch so to speak...

I just traded Scott for a Wrong Side of Uranus... should be here in about a week. I've never used a hardware bitcrusher, but it's not uncommon for me to make a Reason track with bitcrushing on every channel...

I'm thinking about trying to jump on the Sonic Crayon Moths when they are ready. If I can't, I'll probably take another look at Scott's bitcrushing swag.

i had the opportunity to play around with steevdeadman's wrong side of uranus. that thing is mind-bogglingly versatile. so many great sounds in just a few minutes of fiddling.

Oh, this sounds interesting.
I've been thinking about the Hexe bitcrusher, here in Europe with the VAT for transatlantic pedals they become relatively cheap. I mean, for example, a Dwarfcraft TGD costs 150 US$ in the States - OR 150€ here in Europe. So, You know

the bottom line is that You get nothing for free - except the OD2

Oh, no offense taken. Welcome to the forum btw. I'm really stoked about this pedal! My only other bitcrusher experience was playing with garageband on a friend's mac. I then realized what my destiny was.....

i've got a geiger & a Uranus
both great pedals.
the Uranus easily has sounds NOT found on the geiger.
(then again, the geiger still gives me new sounds every time i plug it in after 9 months)
scott could easily sell his Uranus for 225$, to modulating crushing is really awesome!
i'm looking forward to a moth as well.

cloudscapes moth looks incredible, but in fact - he recommended scotts pedal on another forum. I agree that cloudscapes pedals - just from the superficial perspective - are pieces of art. I'd love to own one of his designs, but since I already have a bitcrusher and the hollowearth trem (i am not a trem head) is not really for me, I'll have to wait until he releases one of his other designs (I like the stutter/glitch machine).
