That's a really awesome concept!
But those switches would make strumming hell

I don't understand, it says no routing required. then how do you get those jaguar switches in? Sounds cool though.

It looks like a full on pre-wired pickguard.

Very cool idea, I'll admit sometimes my JM has very specific application, it would be nice to be able to use it for everything. But that's a lot of $$$

Looks sweet, but they might want to place the switches in a better spot. I bet you could ask them to change the placement.

Does not please us. Kind of cool, but a 4 way selector would do just as well for me. And for like $400... :poke:

:idk:
It's all practice. If you practice playing and not hitting switches you should be able to do it.
I used to always accidentally strum right through the five-way on my strat but now I can freak out and know exactly where things are.
I guess if yer a bedroom rocker or a studio/recording rocker as opposed to a live player, then it sounds awesome.

I've always been a fan of JM's and this would be a really neat mod if I currently owned a RI because I would never mod a vintage one but cool idea none the less!

I'm sceptical of how different the various parts of the coil really are. It just seems like a four step volume control.

As for strumming, well, if you hit one of the switches ON, your signal is just going to get a bit louder, which is less of a hassle than hitting a strangle switch on a jag.

Not sure about the placement of the switches either...but I wonder if this is based on the Marauder at all?

Also, Novak's got a JM-180 that is two P-90s that I guess can be controlled by the rhythm switch...intriguing.
