Happy Miniberator day to me!

:omg:
Let me tell you what you probably already know--the Miniberator is FANTASTIC! :)*

I had been without a reverb for almost a year...lack of extra gear money--and me wanting to get an outstanding reverb--kept me from replacing my previous mass-market reverb pedal.

This thing is brilliant! And tiny! The rotary knob is priceless, and the settings and sounds fulfill all of my reverb needs. And it's great to finally be able to play clean again (I can't play clean electric guitar without reverb!). Dr. Scientist = Reverb<3

Anyway, I just wanted to drop in to tell Ryan thanks for this delicious pedal!

Glad it arrived and you're liking it, Tommy! I can't play clean electric guitar without reverb either, just doesn't work for me!

Thanks again for an awesome trade and I'm going to be bugging you every month now for more trades. *smile*

Welcome to the Miniberator club, Tom!

I love mine, I'd be nowhere without it... best reverb EVER!

I also want to thank the doc for bringing me into the light of good reverb. Sure, I have reverb on my Blues Jr, but the Miniberator is 1000000x more versatile and sounds fucking amazing in any mode. I don't think I'll be turning it off anytime soon.

You got an awesome score with a real Mini RRR, Tom!

Just want to repost these. This is pure, beautiful reverb! And it's amazingly intuitive to dial in. :)*

Really glad you guys are liking them!

Wavefront Semiconductors made it pretty easy to make a great reverb pedal though, their reverb engine and converters sound really good and they did all the hard work for me. My contribution is just the analog interfacing and controls and pcb layout. The bigberator has a lot more of 'me' in it with all the analog hacks for decay control, modulation, expression control.

Nychy, I have a Blues Jr. too.. great little amps hey! Did you do the Twin Stack mod on yours?

Thanks again, dudes!

you know what i just realized?

one of my favorite things about the miniberator is the sound it makes when you flick the switch to change between long and short haha

I am too afraid of messing with my amp to do the simple Twin Stack mod. :(

Maybe once I get used to soldering and such I'll do it. The BillM mods supposedly make it so great though.

I love the reverb crash! I think it could be used well in the background of a mix for some emphatic noise.

Nychy, I've only done the Twin Stack mod as it's just super easy.. you just have to short two lugs of the midrange pot together with a little piece of wire, really easy to do and basically risk free. Then you can turn the midrange control all the way off and it makes for some cool clean and dirty tones.

That reverb crash noise from the toggle switch has been quite a topic over the years... you wouldn't believe how many emails I've received from upset customers that believed their new RRR was broken. And one time Tanya's little brother, 9 years old at the time, was messing around with a RRR plugged into my amp which was on and set really loud.. he had the mix set real wet and hit the toggle and you should have seen him jump! Scared the hell out of him... still makes me laugh thinking about it. :p

We have to suffer with that feature as two change between the two decay settings the reverb engine has to turn off and switch to a different timing crystal... when it turns off and on the result is a big crash of reverb. The bigberator won't do that as it will *hopefully* have a cool decay control.

A crystal you say...

I dig the crash, though it was a bit scary the first time

I'm want to use that crash at the end of every pretty song I play. I'm dead serious.

I can join in too! :yay: My Miniberator came on Friday and i'm really loving it, I compared it to the actual spring reverb on my amp and it's just so much bigger and clearer and I love huge hall sounds on reverb... and the pedal's just so small...

The crash is sweet too, I dunno how i'll use it in a song, but i'll find a way!

Oh man, Jon, I love that crystal lattice and those crazy Dumble videos, great stuff!

Pretty cool you guys dig that crash sound... I like it too! I don't know if I'd even want to get rid of it on the minis, it's sort of a known quirk of the RRR, like a little extra fun.

I tried the miniRRR next to a couple of reverbs last week. Well... everybody jaw dropped at the meeting!
It's obvious to me now why... every reverb I tried was monodimentional, while the miniRRR really is 3d, and builds an imaginary room around you! Totally impressed! Totally... after weeks and weeks now! :omg:
