The second miniberator finish is in, the Murdererator!

Up next will be a black and yellow finish... it was supposed to be black and neon green but the screen printers couldn't cop a decent neon green colour so we went with yellow. It's on a textured black background though so we think it might turn out kinda... weird... but then we'll get the rain drop minis and they're going to look awesome.

My picture of it isn't very good... I'm having a hard time taking pictures of these painted pedals, the finishes react differently to my dumb little light tent setup and they always look washed out and weird... they look great in person though, really rich and shiny.

I'm not really sure where these are going just yet.. I think next up is some Australian and European stores... we'll be receiving our other finishes soon too though so I want to start mixing up the batches with all the finishes.

i'm not sure that its the paint itself thats causing the problems. I think its the high contrast of the white and the black knobs confusing the cameras meter... in addition it looks as if the camera was focusing on the top of the switch and the rest appears out of focus which to me indicates a depth of field issue. Going off your flicker page it says your aperature is at F2.8 i would go up to at least a F4 or F8 that way you can ensure that your entire pedal is in the focal plane.

not sure if this helps...

cheers.

To be honest, I thought the pictures of the murderators looked great. :?: and I have 20/15 vision, if that means anything. Anyway, I see the small flaws mentioned, but I am more concerned with how I will afford one of these and how great it will sound.
But I can see from the pedals how Ryan obviously pays attention to details! :p

Thanks very much, I really appreciate the photo advice! I'm really awful at it, I don't know what the hell I'm doing and what I see in the view finder is always way different from how the pics look on my monitor. I use a little white nylon light tent on top of a filing cabinet with a couple of bright lights pointing down at it. My camera can switch between 2.8 and 5.6 settings and then I can adjust up and down from there... I'll use 5.6 next time!
