OTO Biscuit VS Guitar

I meet up with Thilo from the german Pedal Shop Effekt-Boutique yesterday to check out the Biscuit from OTO with Guitar and believe it or not it works pretty damn good! Keep in mind the 2 videos are just a testride and it needs some time to learn tweaking it right but i am preatty sure there are some outstanding sounds availible! Too bad this thing does not support CV Pedals, maybe 2 bigger Knobs on top might do the trick to play and tweak it simultaniously! I am really considering getting one and especially the step sequence stuff is amazing!

The Biscuit is pretty amazing - I was wondering what it would sound like on guitar. Thanks for posting that.
Were you using any other pedals in the first video, or was the distortion coming from the Biscuit's bitcrush? You definitely got some amazing sounds there... I can only imagine what you'd get out of it with practice. Too bad about the lack of expression pedal controls... maybe you could put it up on a music stand when playing live, so you could tweak it with one hand while playing with the other!

i think the OTO Biscuit sounds really nice. but man for real i just don't buy anyone using a bitcrusher on guitar. i think those dudes that say they do are lying. or rather. i know if had a bitcrusher there is like no way fucking i'd be squandering it on guitar fuck that--
(& no i am not one of those lamers that's all like, "How can that be used in a 'musical context?'")
i do think that the price is mega-prohibitive. considering there are other more cheaper options available domestically. but the functinally & the built-in effects just seem PERFECT for bitcrushing. i personally would rather HAVE a bitcrusher in desktop form than stompbox form. & yeah the possibility of gettin' a cheaper bitcrusher & running it out thru other effects is also an option. but IDK. if i had stoopid phat pockets i would really have a hard time saying no. if i lived in Europa i don't think i could say no...

To be honest i have no clue about settings or how the knobs actualy work since its not my Biscuit and Thilo was tweaking the knobs in this demo, i was only trying to play guitar…
There are some amazing soundscapes in this box and I have a hard time not dropping an order since trying it!
For the demo, amp was clean and this is just the biscuit with a touch of delay…!

Great stuff man! Thanks for posting. That thing will be amazing in the studio. And hey, for future reference - what are the best shops for this kind of kit in Berlin?

Schneider's Büro is amazing! Quite heavy on the modular synth stuff, but that shouldn't keep you from anything, now?
