so last night i ordered some chicken caesar wraps around 9:30 from Scores

when ordering they give me guff about the free drink special that came on their flyer
saying it doesn't apply to their location... bullshit since their location is the only one on the flyer
but say their location does has the special "Tax off on Hockey Nights" instead.
so i figure, I'll take that special since it's better value for me anyways (14% off 20$ vs 2 cans of coke..)
and then the kid tries to tell me it's not a hockey night though. LOL
the Canadians just beat the Penguins 3-2, it's hockey fever in montreal, this guy is just clueless.
so i ask to talk to the manager, and everything gets cleared up, no tax.
He even says the food will take a long time since they're really busy because it's a hockey night. (at least an hour, and that's standard for hockey nights)

anyhow, food never arrives
automated phone system stops taking calls at 11:00

man i was pissed on saturday night as i did an online order from pizza hut. order was supposed to show at 11:24 pm. it never showed. i gave some time as i figured it would be the last run of the night so maybe it would be late. it was shortly after midnight when i called back and too late... no answer...

then i figured i did not get pizza as pizza the hut ate himself so...

ususally the manager has to clean that up since noone in their right mind will clean that up for min wage.
its not cool but thats how i would do if they screwed me over.and if they dont have a restroom then they must have a lobby.

I dont know how a business can do that. I deliver food for a local sports bar/restaurant and we work until the orders are all taken care of even if its late, we stop taking deliveries quarter to eleven every day buy friday when its quarter to twelve. Last saturday with the boxing pay per view one delivery guy was on vacation so it was just me and one other working, ended up working till midnight when im supposed to be out at eleven and took 32 deliveries in a five hour shift. I mean granted the deliveries were taking a while to get there but it got there. Sometimes i try and make the people that are giving me shit for the food not being there in fifteen minutes even though we tell them at least an hour when its busy some coupons for a free pizza or something just so i dont have a hungry drunk person screaming at me. If i was in Montreal id get your pizza to you and id pull up to the house listening to something extra fuzzy.

I ordered some sammiches from Jimmy John's (World's Fastest Sammich Delivery) once. Called, gave my address. Just didn't feel like walking the block and a half in the dark and cold winter's night.

Half hour later I called them back to ask where my sammiches were and they said they didn't have a delivery guy.
