Youtube is a bit different though, I mean, this battle has been going on for years and there is a hell of a lot of money at stake. Not to mention that gaming personalities in particular get the brunt of the big media hatred because they are viewed as competition. I know Angry Joe is supposed to be angry but that is definitely the most upset I've seen him and he has every right to be. Like the guy said, it's peoples livelihoods at stake here. One wrong policy change and literally thousands of people are out of a job or cut from an additional revenue stream that they use to put food on their table or pay their mortgage and the consumer and games industry both can only suffer as a result. Youtube really needs to get their shit together and start protecting their content creators and stop leaving it up to the big networks they are signed to (if they are lucky enough to have a contract at all).

All the new consoles came with streaming Software capabilities like Twitch/Ustream and there's already a number of AAA Developers that are against the change as well as practically every Indie dev. So there is a Corporate shift.

Still, I mostly watch Mega64, SpoonyOne, ProJared, JonTron (etc), these are the Content makers that have spent years forming their own unique twist on Gaming orientated videos. These are the people that deserve revenue, though there's a massive flood of shitty Let's Players that doesn't really have any real redeeming qualities. Using material for Reviews/Guides/Discussion is brilliant and should be rewarded, I think that there is potential that the majority isn't really using. :idk:

But Youtube is pretty shitty and they have no fucking idea on how to run a Media based website in this day and age.

Just got a space heater for the apartment and it is so roastytoasty now.
No longer fearing that my guitars and amps will fall ill due to ridiculously chilly conditions.
Also: got good beer for the first time in a long time. Yum.

We just got heating too, it's pretty great not freezing to death.

Just had an amazing weekend in birmingham, went hard for two great nights. Feeling a bit delicate atm but it's one of those really satisfying hangovers.

So I got off the phone with insurance the other day and guess what?

:omg: MY CAR IS TOTALED! :omg:

How is this good? Because it wasn't my fault and I get a new car at no charge!*

*assuming it's no more than how much a 2-year newer model of the car is worth

I honestly hated my Jetta and while I wanted the satisfaction of selling it to some poor bastard myself, I think some idiot plowing into it with his truck and sending it to hell that much quicker is equally fitting.

I should get my check next week and then it's off to find a lightly used Honda or Toyota that will last until the sun goes Red Giant and we all get inundated in its healing red flames of cosmic death :doom:
