this really should be linked to the "Brass Nuts: Yes Or No?" discussion in GuitLove.

Been feeling well-nigh invisible lately. At practice tonight, I mentioned that the new drummer was playing too loud, with zero dynamic range, and on the wrong beat......recieved radio silence. Later, I screwed up something huge, partially because I couldn't hear anything but the drums; leader says, "That was great, I don't think we need to go over any of that again."

I also have about 25 pounds extra weighing me down right now.

yea that sucks when ppl are trying to be constructive, and no one chips in, for whatever reason.
peeps can be SOOO sensitive sometimes, or maybe even the flipside, that no one wants to be the person to say something that MIGHT be construed as insensitive so they allow these things to run free. its so counter intuitive if u are trying to do something.

on a side note, maybe its time to take that 25 pounds of black tar heroin out of your bum now? i think its safe  JKJKJKJK

This woman in the office is driving me crazy. She needs to be fired or quit. She asks me the most inane questions, laughs after every sentence, and feels the need to tell stories that no one cares about and that don't have a point or relate to anything, makes personal calls in the office instead of stepping out, doesn't use headphones - so you can hear anything she's listening to on her computer, has two monitors but instead of extending the display just has them mirroring eachother, and chews loudly with her mouth open like a fucking savage.

Ya, it makes me wonder, "Do you even care if this goes well?" Side note: it went well. Drummer was still a little off, but the rest of us really nailed it.

Well, what am I supposed to do if I can't find any takers for all that?

I hate when people do this. If you feel like you have to apologize for everything you say by
laughing afterwards, stop speaking.

UPS and Fedex are the worst. Especially UPS. I can't even get a package in my apartment building from them because apparently they don't want to bring it to the office it specifically says to bring it to.
I have to remember to get packages shipped USPS now. Never have a problem with them.

I wish other gear board classifieds were more on for trades. Here it's pretty standard but on the uk-specific boards I check not many people are up for trades.

My amp is being shitty. I know something is up with the switch, and I'm sure I need new tubes as well. Also, I need to find the proper fuse. Anybody got that amp diagnosis flowchart?

Ugh, amp will have to wait, just got a second notice from the bill collector about a missed psych appointment last spring. Insurance doesn't cover that. Plus two tickets (one parking, one illegal turn) and then the big Kahuna, $1100 in tuition.

Somehow this money is magically going to appear in the next 2 month, somehow.
