i'm desperately lonely here in Chicago...one reason i went on my music-shop tour was that it gave me a chance to talk with fellow guitar geeks, who were the only people other than my cousin, his fiancee, and gas-station attendants i've talked to live in WEEKS. if it wasn't for Feather talking with me on the phone i'd be utterly lost. that's why i was asking to meet ILFers in Chicago. but nobody seems to want me

Somehow got rather drunk last night. Now I'm hung over and slept through my first class (well it hasn't started but there's no way I'll get there in time).
I'm far more bummed about being hung over though.

I might be a little sick, but I'm mostly just miserable.
It's because of tomorrow. I hate it. I've only ever had one good one, and it's stressing me the fuck out, because I'm back home, and my parents always fuck it up. I always get woken up to some argument, or they end up not talking, or I end up fucking something up, or my friends all abandon me. And now, my girlfriend's across the state, and even if everyone fucks up my day, I can't hug her and have everything be okay.
I can't even try to sleep through it, because I have a math test tomorrow that I have to go to, because it's my midterm. Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.

Chopping some wood to dry for an upcoming fishing trip. Came in proceeded to the shower, scratching my fellas I felt a bump. Panic mode sets in; I'm too young for sack cancer I think to myself. Get out the shower for further inspection and there the little bastard is, with mouthy bits latched on the underside of my scrotum. A goddamn tick on my nuts! I grab some tweezers and pull him off just like they taught me in scouts and flush the fucker. Thought it was a little late for ticks but this weather must be keeping a few of them around.
