Yeah, that's retarded. It takes me 10x longer to write in cursive than print.

That's fucking stuuuuuupid. Nobody ever wants anyone in a professional environment to write in cursive. Like ever.

Just do it in the smallest, tightest, most-perfect cursive, and let him have fun reading it.

It's so stupid and trivial. It's like he's proving a point to himself at the expense of the students. I'm a senior and NOBODY has ever said "I won't accept that unless its in cursive"

My cursive would be torture for a teacher to read. I write at like a 30 degree angle, with absolutely no loops, and overlong strokes for the parts of letters that go above and below the mid and bottom points (I forget what the technical terms are for those parts of letters).

I heard some freshman talking about the exam and I quote. "You think he'll accept it if I just connect my letters and shit?!"

There is a whole country asking the same damn question today. Much worse is that everybody agrees the first 60 minutes were the best the german team has ever played. EVER. And then this complete wrecking happens. It is weird.
Nothing that would make me post in this thread though so here's a little something: My bandmates from the pop band are really going on my nerves. No details now. Maybe later.

madmax1012 wrote:So for my American racism class, we have an exam today. It's a upper level course with a lot of freshman in it, but I need the credits so I'm taking it. So the exam is 4 essays, THAT HAVE TO BE WRITTEN IN CURSIVE. It's fucking stupid. Half the class doesn't know cursive, and I've spent half my studying time remembering how to write in cursive, instead of focusing on actual exam material. The professor, who I already dislike, said that "educated adults give formal presentation in cursive", WHICH IS ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT. Formal presentations are typed and unless you're signing your fucking name on something, cursive is pointless. ENDRANT
Please give me your professor's information and I will berate them endlessly.
If they're going to be a pain in your ass I might as well even the score.
Seriously, that's some serious bullshit; are they 90 years old?

No! He's like 45. He's a condescending piece of shit. This is college and I'm 23, don't fucking tell me that "educated adults" pass around handwritten documents in cursive in the real world because ill call you on your bullshit every chance I get.

Ask him if you can see his doctoral dissertation or any study he's done recently. Then smack him with it. Oh wait, you probably can't because everything is digital now.
Cursive is less relevant than racism.
