If you got a blender go for bullet proof coffee style:

cup of strong coffee + 1-2 spoons of butter & coconut (depending how luxurious you're feeling that day)

it turns into this yummy frothy goodness
that is also supposed to have a flatter longer caffeine effect thanks to the two fats

THC and coconut oil bind perfectly together, so it makes for a pleasant experience IMO. You can make it taste good if you don't dig the taste. I like it though. hahaha.

When I make a batch, you can either make it so that you're making something higher in THC or THCA (if you lower heat decarb). I recently made a pretty potent painkiller on accident. Not heady at all, just pain relieve. My eyes were hurting like nuts last week and it help me through it.


If you ever, every make this stuff at home, please just be cautious with dosing. Last batch took a 1/4 teaspoon to get going. No joke. I can now throw like a good sized hunk in, but it was super strong in the very beginning. Your potency will continue to degrade just like with the plants, but you also start to develop a tolerance.


I so much prefer eating it to smoking the shit though.


Also, I've been using this as a source of fat to drop a few unwanted pounds and I've lost 10 pounds this week. LOL! I am a freak when it comes to that stuff though. I don't know why.

Thanks for the suggestions - I ended up going in the opposite direction and just making a big pitcher of cold brew to maximize my caffeine/effort ratio. Will def look into decaf again when life is less hectic though.

I see Lavazza was mentioned about a year-and-a-half ago, but I'm trying it for the first time right now. I'm having a cup of the Gran Selezione, and it is really good.

Even the normal Rosso is a nice drop for making Italian style coffee. I dig it!

I started making pour over coffee with a ceramic cone and paper filters. So easy and good. Cleanup is a breeze, with no risk of coffee grounds messing up your drains.
