It is REALLY straight forward. Guitar Rig is, at least. Can't speak for any other software. Super easy. And I'm a bit of a tard with the complex multis. I REALLY wish this controller had knobs on it like the Maschine controller so that I could tweak parameters just like on a pedal. That would be super nifty. I'll suggest they do that when they upgrade the controller. As for right now, all the knob tweaking is done on the comp. It's pretty simple to use. The interface makes it look like a massive rack rig. So it's stuff we're all comfortable looking at.

You could get something sexy like this to map to knob parameters and be all set:

I agree, I love mine so much more. That pattern is what my neck looks like. The graphite composite. It's much cooler in that played down role. And oooooof on headless. I don't understand those....outside of the 80's. I get them for the 80's.....like chorus pedals....but that's where it should stay.

We'll see. It's proven it can be fun to play with. It hasn't even started the battle of "if it was worth selling my entire board". Like....it's the best multiFX unit I've played on.....but it hasn't shown it can beat the Timeline, Faye Sing, etc on an individual basis. And the latency was at 13ms (about 6ms was input, 6 output, and 1 precessing) Once it comes back, my first goal is getting that down.

I still don't recommend it. But we'll see.

And awesome Chiefy. It's great when things work out that way.

What I have always heard is that for each ms, it is equivalent to standing 1 foot away from your amp. So if you have 6ms latency, and stand 6 feet from your amp, it is like you are standing 12 feet from your amp, not really noticable at lower levels like that, and can be overcome with a little adjustment in playing style. I know you will beat 12ms by far. Hopefully 3 or 4 ms is where you end up, 6 is pretty damn good.
