i don't have a job lined up. i have an interview with an agency on Tuesday. there's more interest than in CA, but nothing's happening yet. and the bitch who was supposed to buy my pedal steel says she can't pay for it until the second week of November. plus i'm sick, trying to fight off some kind of flu-ish (funny, i don't look fluish) thing. i might have to go through the truck and cull out CDs to sell, and i really don't want to do that because i already sold off a couple of hundred discs while i was still in California. and i miss my house and my trees and my cats and my peace and quiet. my cousin has been incredibly gracious to me, but he also is a very loud guy who constantly goes off on five-minute tears about stuff on the TV (which he watches constantly, flipping back and forth between stations at the commercials so you can't follow anything that's going on) and basically never shuts up.

and i don't have a single friend here who knows me, who i can talk to, who understands me. i talk with my friend Feather in CA almost every night, because she's all i have.

I too slept very little. Up until about 4, woke up at 8. No reason to wake up (work at 5PM), I just did. For the last four and a half hours, I've been laying in bed unable to go back to sleep but still feeling so incredibly tired and unmotivated to do anything.
