Very cool! Looks gorgeous. I've got a contact mic on my Jaguar too, sounds crazy and fun.

Thanks, I'm super pleased with how it turned out.

Which seems weird, right? CNC programming isn't in my wheelhouse and it's probably more complicated than I think it is, but they already have the files and there are literally tens of us. I grabbed the body way before I actually started the project because they're hen's teeth.

Yes that's weird! Same problem also for mustang and jagstang bodies! I think warmoth's statement is that it's difficult to find lefthanded hardware for this kind of guitars... but to my knolegde there are options out there.

Definitely, the control plates are righty but they look good enough from five feet away/with jpeg compression, and I don't use the trem so it's not an issue but I can see a more 'casual' builder who just wants to get their feet wet having problems. I can understand why they wouldn't want to offer something they couldn't reliably source parts for, even if they'd sell.
But also it's a company, not my mom. It shouldn't be trying to stop me from making bad decisions.

Needed a new guitar for a new band, so I got a Gretsch Streamliner. It's by far the best guitar I've ever tried at that price point. And I got the most beautiful tone in the world out of it, so I'm excited about how the record will turn out.

lol. As nice as it is. Gibson purists would hate this guitar. It has a slim 60s neck, it's chambered, and loaded with Burstbucker Pros.

It's a Standard from 2006. Made right at the end of the year as they introduced chambering.
