I sold my Rene, it was a really boring module for me - with just a Voltage Research Blackbox and a couple of utility modules it wasn't hands-on enough for me to use.

At a crossroads between selling the remaining modules (Voltage Research, Batumi, Pam's New Workout) that I was going to build off of or actually investing in enough Eurorack to make it interesting (Mimeophon, some kind of reverb, a sequencer like the NerdSeq, something to bring my guitar signal into Eurorack... fuck me this shit gets expensive). I could turn my little bit of Eurorack and a couple of hundred from my stimulus check into a Sequential Pro 3.

YES!

I have been lusting over one of these things for a lot time for exactly what you're doing here. So good my dude. So good.

0 Control should be ideal for me since I've got an 0-Coast as one half of my desktop setup... but really it's "too much" control for what I want and not enough of the control over the things I actually want. I'd be interested in trying one though.

Looks like Subharmonicon is definitely happening and I like what I am hearing:

Yes, that is sounding dope as hell. I have a probably reasonable and common desire to play it with the DFAM and cause unreasonable and uncommon ruckus. Basically any synth (or module?) which produces auto-composed melodies interests me greatly as I am deficient in inventing my own melodics.

I haven't seen an official Moog release, but Moog Audio (confusingly named retailer that I don't think is affiliated with the brand?) sent out a release this morning and even has the Subharmonicon listed in stock. So I have that on order! I hope they're actually in stock!

Niiiiiice. Perfect Circuit eMail also says IN STOCK but website does not say that. Their video showing it off is pretty rad. I'm sort of unemployed right now (by which I mean I'm unemployed) and therefore should not drop 7 hundo on a synth but I'm going to drop 7 hundo on this synth I think.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited! The Perfect Circuit demo sounds pretty awesome. I sold a few things in anticipation of both the Subharmonicon and the No-Ctrl/Coast. I won't be able to afford the No-Ctrl/Coast for awhile, but I am alright waiting until they start popping up on the used market.

As per the standard release process, there are so many Subharmonicon videos out now:

Looking for a filter, fellows.

Right now running an Akemie's Castle into a Doepfer A-103 TB-303 clone filter. This sounds pretty good but the Doepfer is extremely deep and has to sit in an inconvenient place in my case.

So I suppose I'm looking for another TB-303 filter clone in eurorack format or something... similar? Something through which FM atrocities sound fuckin' lit.

Any thoughts?

Not TB-303, but very cool.

Also super cool if you diy: plum audio uJove

Those both seem like rad filters, esp. the micro-Jove. Unfortunately, I don't have the DIY skillz to make that module a reality in my home. Looks like the 3Tom is an MS-20 clone? I'll look into some of those and see what's up.

Linky? I no see.

EDIT: Well, I did not buy a filter but I did buy a nano-Ornament & Crime and a nano-Elements. Neither of those filters but the O & C sequences. I'm replacing my Qu-Bit Bloom with the O & C (hopefully). I love Bloom but it needs calibrated after a firmware update I did and I don't understand the calibration instructions.

The nano-Elements is because I love nano-Rings and decided to expand to nano-Elements in my larger case. I know in general people here are anti-nano-Mutable but I've had no problems with my nano-Rings and don't anticipate any trouble with the nano-Elements.

You know what makes nano-Rings sound good? Noise Engineering Viol Ruina. There, now you know all my secrets.
