At home? Sitting, cause I'm lazy, I tried a bunch of different stools and chairs, none were comfortable while playing. Then a friend suggested one of these, I mocked her at first, but she was right, it's comfy as fuck, plus the whole proper posture thing.

Really though. The reason I sit while practicing is that my fucking back kills me sometimes. If I'm playing a heavier bass, I have to sit. Sucks. Like, the Warwick for instance. It is not nearly as comfortable playing standing as sitting. The Stingray though, is lighter and I can stand with no issues. The Bongo (no longer owned) is the PERFECT weight.

I've injured my back several times over the years because I have an inflamed disc in my low back. Sucks ass. It acts up every now and then and makes me want to rip my spine out so the pain will go away.

What sucks is I'm a pretty built/strong guy, and this shit is happening to me. Fuck.

Might be time to look for a lighter bass or a better strap. You don't want to be forcing something on yourself that will make your back worse.

The ONLY time I ever stand is when I'm playing live.
I had a stool that I used in practices for 15 years. It finally died.
I have a swivel stool I use now and love it even more!

I kinda popped a bone from it....

This is the first Synth patch that I made on the VB-99. I am fucking with parameters more than playing. I think I was messing with a the filter or pitch the whole time on the first synth and I had a slicer and delay on the second synth, as well as messing with the filter and pitch. I was using the D Beam with filter and pitch.
