Interesting, I've never looked at it as intimate, you just sit there like a canvas. My favourite part is that buzzing sound of the machine, love that.

As for aftercare, just spray the thing with liquid bandage. No more messy vaseline/preparation H and plastic wrap. Spray it on and about a week later it's all healed. You can even shower with it and not do the awkward posturing to avoid it getting wet. The Health Inspection making that mandatory for tattoo shops a few years back is the best thing they've ever done. You can probably still work out if you're just getting a little piece.

plus... i got fucking body highs like 3 tabs of e each time. shit felt GOOD.

It's true about the grrl thing, a cousin of mine did it with his fiancé and got to put a big tribal over it less than a year later. My brother and his girl got matching amor vincit omnia ('love conquers all' in latin) inked then she dumped him 5 months after he proposed to her, though she moved back in two months later.

I got Radiohead lyrics on my arm and they're still together and making good music. Band stuff is fine.
