In divisive times, could we agree that The Escalator Investigators would bring the youths out to the nightclubs, circa 1986? That sounds like a good, cheeky 80s art rock/ post-punk band.

This "escalator expert" misidentifies an "escalator" as an "elevator" at 1:34 :

So, I don't know what to believe anymore.

if i was on the right drug(s) that phrase would start pinging around my brain like a pinball and never leave. sort of like the cheesy-yet-profound gated drums and Massive Synth Riff of one of those bands. somewhere between Tears for Fears and A Flock of Seagulls.

I haven't forgotten that he thought we had planes during the American Civil War. I imagine he'd be stunned to find out the Red Baron was a German pilot and not just a pizza mascot.

Yes, that Red Baron pizza is real.
Supposedly not that bad. (I've never had it.)

not bad for frozen, but DiGiorno’s is better. i don’t make frozen now because my oven sets off the smoke alarm even after a thorough cleaning.

If someone's looking to "not turn a blind eye to the lawlessness plaguing American cities", maybe they should direct their attention to a certain white house in a certain chocolate city.

Ha, that one took a turn fast. Anyway, I’d be more excited if the Earhart files actually solved the mystery after all these years.

from what i’ve read it’s not really a mystery. people from nearby islands said they’d seen a wrecked plane on a reef, and the assumption is that she died and was then eaten by coconut crabs which are large and voracious.
