the correct translation of *untested, no returns* is "broken, doesn't work"

Maybe not. The SP-1 is worth alone that amount in working condition and it has no rare components inside if I'm not totally wrong.

I had one of these long ago. Should have never sold it.

This has been on my shortlist [in sig] for about 2 years. Last sept (or october) this exact unit surfaced on reverb for $350 the week after a $380 expense wiped out my cash stash. I'm still somewhat of a sad boy about it...but I don't want to haggle or incur debt. Earlier this year I managed to score another longtime shortlist pedal (LAL Super 45) for less than that, thanks to a tip from one of our own international fuzz frenz.
I'll continue to go without unless some kinda miracle happens...which I would actually loathe to squander on a material possession :(

If the concept appeals to you as much as the Sonic Crayon-ness of the Hollow Earth you might like the Lightning Wave Ghost which also lets you write wave forms in a very intuitive way.

The two ideas split the intuitive qualities of the idea. The Hollow Earth/Goatkeeper waveform drawing is turning a knob up and down to say how loud you want the volume as the wave form progresses. It makes sense but turning a knob through 270 degrees with good control is difficult. The Lightning Wave method with a slide put is much easier to manipulate but you have to think of the wave form as it moves which can be weird.

Dude, it's because it didn't come with a canvas drawstring sack!

If you chuck it in a drawer/box/bag with other pedals, that's gonna happen. A big box small stone completely fucked the paint on my tu2 before I had a board.

idk bout yall but if I buy somthing for over 100 bucks...im keeping the box & all that it came with, and if it has no box, I get one...line it with thin bubble wrap....and place the pedal when not in use back n a box, and the box goes into a storage crate or foamed trunk.....if you chuck it, you suck it. I want a pedal company who hunts regularly and the skins of their kill are turned into pedal sacks...like soft bunny fur caressing the house of your sonic weapon. .......but yeah just kiddin I know what chu mean.
