Just got in the post this morning! Pic of the new nanorings being tested. Sounds nice! Going to keep the setup like this for a good long time I think.
The mini layout isn't nearly as bad as expected, it's been built really well and these tiny pots are waaaaay sturdier than most of the ones I've seen on other gear.

i love CalSynths for all my Mini Mutable/DIY/Pay Someone Else To Do It Because I SUCK At Building Needs. he's GOOD.

i loved the idea of the jam a day to keep me not just lounging into the video game couch during quarantine lockdowns but.... that was when it was 2 or 3 weeks. now that it's 2 or 3 MONTHS.... that shit is... daunting. got to where i was completely not looking forward to sitting down and doing something.
annnnnnnd the main goal of getting comfy with the Pyramid as Main Controller Butts is pretty much accomplished. WOOT.
so. grabbed one of the parts of one i liked and have spent today trying to flesh it out into a song. muchhhhhhhh more fun.

so... here's the thing... i HATE that i can't afford (have the money, afraid to spend anything until i see how finances shake out over the next month) a good polyphonic synth and a mixer for my hardware synth area. but i kinnnnnnda love that i can't afford any more modular loots. i like my setup. i like having it stable. it's GOOD.
