I'm giddy as fuck right now. I had a $600+ ambulance bill from being stupid a few months ago. I ran the bill through my insurance and still had $379 or so that I had to pay out of pocket. Since I had other bills and anxiety, I was putting it off since like mid-July. Today, while figuring out my finances towards moving out of my parents' place, I finally decided to call them and pay it.

IT TURNS OUT MY INSURANCE HAD ACTUALLY COVERED THE WHOLE THING SINCE THE LAST BILL!!!!! :!!!:

It must've been some donut-hole deductible thing. I don't really understand any of that. But damn, I think I'm finally getting out of this 3 year rut.

since i can deduct the cost from my rent i went out today and bought $75 worth of towel bars, coat hooks, shower curtain, and whatnot. it's amazing how something as small as putting up a shower curtain makes a place feel more like home.
