This is the one I got. There are others that are slightly more expensive but with faster shipping

For the past few years the only actual guitars I've owned have been in pieces, but I finally finished putting them both back together:
This Silo 20 was mostly just rust and cigarette smoke when I got it. I replaced pretty much everything on it
My buddy bought this unbranded LP for next to nothing at a pawn shop in Florida. He gave it to me because it stopped working; it was just a broken solder joint, but I replaced everything in it anyways. I'm loving these GFS goldfoil humbuckers!

If it had a black guard, I'd be all over that Sterling!
Which GFS gold foils did you get? I'd like to try a pair but don't know which one's to pick.

I actually bought an uncut black guard to put on the Sterling! I have zero experience and I don't have the right tools to do it, but I'll give it a shot!
I grabbed these for the LP, which I actually really like. They take dirt super well!

And this for the Sterling middle position. I honestly haven't messed with it too much enough to really have an opinion on it, though.

It is all cocobolo, native to Nicaragua where the guitar is from. The neck is amazing, super fast and balanced. No marquetry. The triqueta seems to be wood stained with a darker hue. Unfortunately the guitar was damaged in shipping; a nasty crack along the side of the body. I got it fixed but I’m still a bit miffed by the crack. It has a fishman on it.

Did you use the quick plug setup or just solder them in?

All quick plugs. I wasn't sure I was going to like the goldfoils so I liked the fact that I could change them really quick and easy

very cool, that system is super interesting to me.
I like the idea that you can swap out pickups whenever

i'm thinking of getting a Korean Guild X-175 archtop and swapping out the stock P90s for the Guild mini-hums after discovering that Stephen Stills played a similarly-equipped Duane Eddy model with the Buffalo Springfield. this would be *way* simpler due to the Guild quick-connects...they sell repros of their vintage PUs direct which Guild stans say are very close to the originals and have the connectors pre-installed, and the guitars also ship with quick connects.
