I was just thinking this place could use more wizards and now TJ shows up. Rad!

It's ReRanch's green water-based stain, heavy on the stain powder when mixing. I was seriously despairing after wiping it on 'cause it looked like someone took a fucking crayon to it, but it dried beautifully.
I think it was too humid when I sprayed the nitro though. Any scratch shows up as a huge white line, which can be fixed, but it doesn't really bother me.
This is good to know because I want to do my own finish work on it. It'll be my first time so the info is much appreciated.

well, fuck me...my 18" has gone tits up. not sure what the deal is. John and I opened it up and took a look. the speaker looks fine, but it farts like crazy around frets 9-12 on the low string. What would you guys suggest? Should I look for a place to get it repaired? Or just get a new speaker all together? It's going into a Acoustic 118BHS folded horn cab, it that helps.
this shit fucking sucks. :'(

I got to listen to Bongzilla's Gateway at work today real loud while everyone else was on lunch. Good times.
Also, having co-workers with awesome tastes in music rules.

You made me a happy man putting Opeth in...i spent a good 10 years of my life listening exclusively to those guys...still go back to it every now and again...their older shit is timeless and genre-less

Curiously enough, I just brought home a friend's "lawsuit" LP to give it some repair and setup, and it looks almost exactly the same as this one. I know, all LPs look the same...

buying a few albums today...any recommendations would be great.
remember, i'm relatively new to this doom stuff, so i don't necessarily want to new releases...just suggestions for the best doom stuff out there.
