It's a workshop with various tools and supplies that you can become a member of to use those resources. However, for me, it's much more about the other people. I learn a lot from other people, find folks to work on projects with, teach people stuff, and generally have a good time with folks that enjoy learning and making things.
I've started a music group at ours, and hopefully soon we'll be making instruments and teaching classes on circuit bending, classes on building fuzz faces, etc. We're trying to figure out how to put together the circuit bending class and waiting for our DIY wood CNC router project to be finished so that we can make some sort of strumstick/dulcimer instruments on it.
Some makerspaces only offer a certain type of tools/space; they may only do electronics. However, ours is an electronics lab, machine shop, space for working on cars, etc.

I'm sure you could chat nail polish with PumpkinPieces.
I'm all about the nail polish look, though I don't wear it.

Every time I hear this piece of music, I feel like nothing matters and all is at peace.

My dad went to the thrift store and scored a wallet that looks like bacon and a Flying V Christmas tree ornament. Tomorrow my paycheck's going to a new guitar.
Today I didn't even have to use my AK.
I GOTTA SAY, IT WAS A GOOD DAY.

My XP-1000 started working again!!!!!!

Apparently while screwing around with it, I had put it into calibration mode and never finished the calibration.

I've been making a comment about telecommuting to my boss roughly every month for the past four years. They used to allow it, I think it would be my saving grace. Burn out runs high around here.

As well as the new Foo Fighters and Thursday.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find the new Young Widows record.
