the person who bought my camera on ebay made a point of messaging me to tell me she got it and is having a great time with it, but couldn't leave positive feedback, even after i asked and left a note in the box saying to do so!?!?

all i can say, SR, is that regardless of the positive or negative value of punk behavioral "authenticity" it doesn't seem like it's working for you. you've just been talking about how lonely it's made you that everyone in your town views you as their clown. you can choose not to be their clown. to do so would require questioning and potentially rejecting some or all of your internalized ideology, which is a difficult process. however, it's preferable to dying, or living in misery, for the ideal of "hardcore."

i am working on this business packet for school. the first question is "imagine for a moment that you and your family are among the billions of people in the developing world that live in poverty. what would you do to try to lift yourself out of that poverty? from your perspective, how does your answer differ from what you think is actually occurring in those countries? "

 i guess it's not too bad of a question. but it is still pretty bad.

i need one and a half credits of business/tech and because i didn't get to actually take a business/tech class i got a big business packet of work instead. i have no clue how this is relevant pretty much. i've been leafing through it and the entire thing is pretty much FUCK YEAH USA.

oh here's the next question "accept for a moment the viewpoint that many of the countries of the developing world are out-competing american industry. from your perspective, what can and should our country do to become more competitive?"

The obvious answer is outsourcing.

If by outsourcing you mean malaria, then yes, that is the correct answer.

But really, that first question is so unbelievably stupid. I propose you answer a totally immoral question with an equally immoral yet completely realistic answer, that is, drug smuggling or child sex slave trafficking.
