Then I think about it, dang I better getsome strings and more Industrial Velcro, spending that $52 dollars ticked me off, well, especially the Velcro..$26 and change delivered!!!!!!!

guh. me and the grrL are trying to work stuff out, but i dunno. there's a chance i'm going to end up single. at 36. yay. how do you like the Neon strings? do they stay bright for awhile? feel weird? i played a (non-DR) set at NAMM one year.... they were ok. i'm not sure if i like the look or if they're goofy. or both. murrrrrr?

They feel funny when first playing them, me fingertips felt funny, but after a little bit they feel good and stay pretty bright sounding for awhile. Plus I figure Neon Green on a Black Bass looks good. I got them for 25ish shipped. Really good string for not spending $40+.
I do like Ernie Balls, the new cobalts, but I think these stay brighter for longer, so I am looking for a 2 month run out of these strings.

I hope things work out for ya man. The best path, the right path, is rarely the easiest one. I wish it were though... But, these paths (Good and Bad) build upon our character and makes us who we are.

yeah, if it goes that way it sucks, we've been married for 12 years, and i still love her, but we've been in this ass sucking limbo for like 5 years. kinda getting to where something one way or the other has to happen. but that's some whiny boring shit.

HURM. i'd be down to try out some Neons, although i do LOVE the Dingwall strings. things last FOREVER. i've had the same set on for i think 6 months now. they feel like how most strings take a day or two to feel when you first put them on, like they're already almost broken in to still tasty but not obnoxiously bright. and they've kinda just sat there for a hinute now. i'm surprised the low B has stayed as tasty this long. those usually go thwackumpity dead in about a month or two of solid playing.

does DR make longer sets in 6's? it's a bitch finding sets in a long enough scale to fit a fanned'd'd'd'er sometimes.

How much are Dinger Stringers?

DRs are handmade so they could probably do something for you. I haven't searched, but I have seen 5ers so why wouldn't they make sets for 6ers.

Circle K makes long-scale strings, and they sound like they are a similar sound to the Dingwall strings. Slightly broken-in and not obnoxiously ear-piercing bright.

Just do every other string starting on the G. Peeps will only think you're playing 3 strings and the rest is magic.

i think they're like $40ish? nothing horrible, and if i was gigging ALL the time i think i'd only go through about 4 or 5 sets a year.

innnnnnnnnteresssssssting. do they do color wrapped shtuff? that'd be the only reason i'd try new strings, for the aesthetics. i love the way the Dingers feel and sound, i'd just be into maybe a tad mroe LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. i'm shy. i cover it by being outgoing.

NICE. or i could buy Same Color As My Fretboard for low B and high C and not hear, "but SIX strings? that is a GUITARRRRRRR!!" type silliness.

although, i don't really hear that often anyways. more just, "shit. i thought you were playing a guitar. neat.". helps that i'm sorta larger. bass is way more in proportion to my bodies. lol. i look like a GOOF holding a guitar.
