I hope they can shave a few hp off the Afterneath (I would replace my QuBit Prism if it was 12hp), but at the same time it looks like a pretty good layout.

Muse FTW wrote:Definitely want to get in on that Voltera action. Still salty about my silver Metron but I don't have the stones to replace the faceplate lol.
As an aside,
I released an album today! If my limited cassette run sells out fast enough the distributor might want to do a vinyl pressing.
Here's a link for anyone who wants to check it out.
Sounds nice! Very moody.

I managed to snag a cassette! Really enjoyed it listening at work yesterday.

jebus. one of the first people to get invoiced shared on the Muffs Pulsar-23 thread and after fees, shipping and purchase price.... ended up $1,900 USD. yikes.
i mean. i thought it would be $1600ish, and that's not way more but. oof. that's a chunk of change.

i'm getting a little gun shy on the Pulsar-23. i love the looks of it and have been soooooo geeked for it but.... ugh. 2 g's is a bit hard to swallow.
suck it up? wait a bit? 'm TORN.
..... haven't received my Ret To Go email yet, so still a hypothetical.

I'm still getting it.... it's way too interesting to not at least try it out. I don't think it'll be too hard to flip CLOSE to what you pay for it especially if you make the decision soon after getting it.

I think I'm gonna grab a Mimeophon if there's a decent discount this weekend. It sounds great in every demo I've seen and it's relatively straightforward, plus I need a solid delay module.
Thought I might hold out for a Rainmaker but not sure I want to take up that much hp in my rack for one effect.

I'm in love with my Mimeophon and I'm a delay freak.... it's probably the most fun I've had using a delay, ever.

Would you mind expanding on that? Looks really cool but hasn’t made it to the wishlist yet.

Well there's the obvious stuff like it being stereo and having so much CV input modulation. Reverse and Freeze... I'm a sucker for reverse delay and not a lot of modules offer that.
Zone - I love this feature which can get very creative very quickly with cv control. From short repeats to phrases that come back a minute later. With well thought out CV control it can be very interesting.
Skew - having the ability to offset the left and right outputs is something I don't have on my other delay modules which I like a lot.
Gate Output - having a gate output derived from the rate control is useful.
Rate - cv control over the rate combined with the zone gets into interesting territory (I dig the micro rate and Doppler effects it can do)
Halo - the smear / reverb is beautiful on this thing and again... cv controllable.
Color - this has a much greater creative affect than I thought and again.... cv controllable
Using all of these cv inputs with the Catalyst crossfader has been AMAZING...... especially on drums!
