She's more into Enslaved than I am, but we are both pumped about Royal Thunder and Pallbearer. Plus, we're going to see Graveyard two nights after that! Living in a legitimate city is fucking awesome!
Oh, and here's my contribution to the non-doom jammage of the new Doom Room. I still haven't given Cold of Ages a good listen to, but this album is up there for me with Weakling as far as awesome USBM.

Oh man. I won tickets in the fall to see Pallbearer/Royal Thunder and they KILLED IT. So good. I've said it before: Mlny Parsonz is a bad ass.
And I'm so pumped to see Graveyard next Wednesday as well.

And listening to this Ash Borer now. I dig.

I have not played through a Peavey I didn't like. For the most part they are pretty cheap and built like bricks. I have a dream of putting together an all peavey rig. I love my T-40 like I love my daughter and I would like to find a Classic 120/120 to run into a 3620 and a classic 60/60 to run into a 215. Prob. pick up a couple rusty boxes for pre's.
I have a 120/120. Tell me more of this 3620, and rusty boxes

Whats happenin' guys!
TB Doom Room has been slow today and Ive been meaning to wander over here...it feels different here, good different...
We got the stack for those who arent also on TB

Cabs...
1986 Sunn Beta 205 w/ Eminence Betas
1988 Sunn Beta 205 w/ Eminence Aplhas (top, its shorter and shallower than the 86)
Peavey 215 cab w/ 70s Olson Speakers 18s stuffed in there
I use a pre/power setup for complete tonal mobility, right now I have an Acoustic 833 power amp but I want to find a Peavey CS800, so I can power the 15s and 18s on separate channels.
My main bass is a 70s Hondo Ric copy w/ a fake mustache...fake stache for a fake ric
sunn, acoustic, STACHE
And then we got the effects

Signal path goes as follows...
TU-2 > Mojo Hand Colossus > Monte Allum modded and rehoused ODB-3 > Carbon Copy > Correct Sounds Eclipse (crazy russian Sunn Concert based preamp)
My band is called VEGA, link in my sig, we have our first shows next month, getting pretty pumped for those.
We have a cover of Led Zeppelins "No Quarter" on my soundcloud, check it out.

Tell me about the Colossus. What other fuzzes/muffs have you used and how's it compare?
Also that preamp sounds fucking sweet.

All I used to own to compare it with is a NYC Big Muff Pi, And its light years better than that. The mid control is basically like a "lets cut threw the mix even though its a muff" knob. The 3 way switch is russian green Muff eq, flat-ish eq, bass boost eq. Its a super versatile muff clone, but not the best clone out there, thats still the bluebeard IMO.
And yeah all the sound of a sunn concert without the weight. even though I'm still using heavy power amps haha

That stachebass is fucking awesome, dude. The setup too.
I love Hondos.
