Didn't you have a cheap interface at some point and hated it? You can buy a lot of Greentea KitKats with the $50 you'd spend on the cheapie interface. Besides, you have like 5 MOTUs and 3 M-Audios lying around your place, use one of those.
durp. TOTALLY forgot i have 2 Motu 828's laying around. problem is they're firewire and i only have usb on my home pc. a card is like $50 usually. hurm. what would be HAWT is if i could find somebody that wants to trade those two for one interface that has a nice preamp for vocals. then i could temp-use that bugger then have a good thing to go to for vox. HURM.
(got that pm, been out allll day, grabbing foods then home)
anybody know good knowledge stuff about midi bass drum kick triggers? i'm looking and they range from like $50 to $400+. if i go around $100 is that gonna be sturdy enough for 2 day a week practices and gigs? what am i getting if i go up to Good Lawd That's Some Loot range? is responsiveness an issue with cheaper stuff?
TEACH. ME.

urf. NOPE. just did a layout for a PT-3 (the blank space to the left is what wouldna be there on a PT-3, the blank space on the bottom row is for the bypass looper in transit).....

and i'd have to give up a TAFM, a dedicated bit crusher, the Goatkeeper AND cram stuff in tighter than i want. guess i just have to suck it up carry the big bugger around. i'm kinda concerned about floor space live, but i dunno if the extra 8 inches is going to really matter.
plus, i'm CLUMSY FOOT live. i need space between pedz. i needs space HARD.
oh well. it'd be cheaper to get a Mono case for the Pro anyways. ALL MY HOPES LAY IN THE AWESOMENESS OF MONO.

GUH. that's worse. lol. more floor space and i want a Plug One Audio In, One Audio Out, One Power Plug setup.
i tried a PT-2 and a PT-1. for a hinute. hated it. thanks though.
i think if the Mono case is as sturdy as the bass one i have then i'll be fine unless we fuck up and do well enough to get to where we're gigging a LOT. them i'll be in your shoes. looking for just the hard case.
WE'LL BE SEARCHY BRUVAHS!! YAY!!

yah. if i went to a hard case i'd get something custom. i HATE the weight and size of the og Pro case. that is SO Roadie Time. and i'm not near that level. have you looked at gun cases? they can come in funky sizes, are sturdy as butts and can be way cheaper than the audio gear version sometimes. i'm still holding out hope for the Mono. if that doesna work, i'll probaboy start with gun cases first.
RUSSIAN CIRCLES FUCKING SLAYED WHEN I SAW THEM LAST NIGHT. we hung out in the balcony the whole time they played, so we were looking down at Captain Busy Hands the bass player, his gear, the drummer, and could lean out and see the guitarist hellza good. so AWESOME.

I used to do this. A LOT. I didn't like having to sacrifice pedz and other goodies to save a few inches. I knew I was lugging heavy ass cabinets, amps, basses, etc. so one more heavy pedalboard didn't matter after a certain point.
I'm also clumsy live with ma stoopid feet.
Keep a BIG AZZZ BOARD.
