oooooo! NEAT!!

fuck me. so.... YES, the dimensions are listed on the main page of McMillan's site for the 12 Step.

but look at this screen cap from the demo vidja -

that person must be 3 feet tall and have small feet for someone that size. that thing is TINY. and i dig the whole Less Psace Is Moar, but i can barely use this thing at home. i'm NOT trying to reliably Pinpoint Foot Bomb during a show whilst playing bass and doing pedal work. sending this guy back.

which fucking sucks, because the feature set is BEAUTIFUL. pressure sensitive so you can program in pitch shifts or filter openings or effects knob sliding depending on pressure? SO GOOD. damnit. more things to look for.

'm gonna order a PT-3 HC soon i thnk though.

jia. that one is SECHSY. i'm still really into getting one again if he does a run of Mini's. MEOW.

soooooooooo...... i have a pair of Native Instrument Komplete 6's. i use one at the studio and (when we start gigging) for live for the singer's keyboard (she runs Kontakt with a midi controller) and the other's for my home audio pc and to bring along as a backup for shows. thing feels like a rock solid BEAST hence my doubling up with them. the other day when i was rearranging the studio and plugged up the laptop synth to test out connections the studio Komplete 6 didna work. got it home and realized that the middle plastic nub in the USB port (it's a B on the Komplete 6) was missing, so the pins are exposed and a USB cable doesn't sit right. awesome. HOPING it's just one of those Everybody Makes A Faulty Part Once In Awhile thing 'cause i paid a bit more on them 'CAUSE they seem like tanks.

i bought it through Sweetwater, they do a 2 year warranty on stuff, it's only 2.5 months old. they've sent me a RMA number to send it back to them, Native Instruments hasn't responded yet, i was HOPING somebody'd just send me a new one and i could send this back. but it looks like at Sweetwater it's going to go there, be evaluated, they're going to tell me if they'll cover it or if i have to pay them to fix it...... i don't have an audio interface at my house now to record with.

tl;dr version - my usb audio interface is getting repaired, would y'all buy a cheapie holdover or shuffle the backup version that's used for studio stuff back and forth until the broken one gets fixed/replaced by manufactorer?

Given that you're going to gig with it which means setting it up at each gig then practice, you might as well just shuffle the backup and get used to that. Didn't you have a cheap interface at some point and hated it? You can buy a lot of Greentea KitKats with the $50 you'd spend on the cheapie interface. Besides, you have like 5 MOTUs and 3 M-Audios lying around your place, use one of those.

So I'm almost done with my hunt, at least for a while.

For reverb I'll be getting a RRR, and for whammying I think a PS-6 is in order (the new Whammy's look awesome, especially the new Poly mode, but I don't think I can deal with another faulty treadle).

I don't know what to do with the remaining funds I have...I do want a controller for the Timeline (because unlocking the full potential of my favorite pedal seems like a swell idea) but I have been gassing for an oscillating fuzz forever (you know, Fuzz Factory, etc.) and I think the AB-Synth might be the right way to go, but I'm not sure which model/variant I should go with. There's the regular, the 5k, and then the Supreme...
