Finally got a trem. Dude said it sounds like the Boss TR-2, it was cheap and that's exactly what I wanted.

and I got the Protocaster and the Tube Tape Echo yesterday.
Protocaster is super, super cool. Great playability, pickups are radd, solid.
Unless I see a Danocaster I must have (best necks EVER), this will probably take care of my Tele needs for a long while.
TTE is way groovy, too - I didn't get to move much beyond slapback last night, but it's definitely the best slapback sound I've ever produced and as good as any I've heard.
Can't wait to figure out some longer delay settings with it and get some STEREO action happening.
