At least our show was Kick ASS, I was in Tampa all day yesterday, I have to study today because I am going fishing tomorrow. So, I am going to be fighting to find time to start to dial it in.
I have been wishing for a camera for a bit. My phone one sucks, my tard-bot computer doesn't have a webcam, my lady has a Mac and I am the tard-bot when it comes to Macs. I figure that I can use my singer's little one soon to get something recorded. I really wish I could have done a few before I sold a few certain pedals

I'd recommend the Zoom Q3HD for some demos. It has the line-in which you can utilize direct from a mixer. I use it for my demos.

It kinda sucks in low light, but even if you don't use the line-in, it has pretty nice condenser mics on it for turn-on-and-play demos.

grrrrr. i reallly want to go to that thing but i'm. taking like 3 of the next 5 or 6 Saturdays off work for other shit that i canna get out of. DILEMMA.

you can get a decent webcam for about $40 new now. the audio. on iphones aren't horrible, Sylnau uses one for his demos and they sound GOOD. i use a Shure Beta52 for audio and a Logitech $60 webcam for vidja on mines. works pretty well.

Yeah I had an awesome webcam but I gave it to someone that needed it more, I can skype on the Mac.
I use an Android phone, I went a step down from the best and really the only diffeence was in the canera/video department
I will get something figured out, I will check into the Zoom, in fact, that may be what my singer has. All I know is that it has recorded some decemt videos of us live, better sound than I thought the little bastard could do.

Man, Deltz. I was at Trip's yesterday, he was doing some crazy things with Ableton. Even the fuzzes and ODs were sounding pretty amazing. He has a tendency to do that with things. Dude uses a Yamaha amp and you'd swear he's still playing through his Glock.

We also had a LONG talk about amps. I've narrowed the search down to a two options (both the exact same price):

1) Used Glockenklang Heart-Rock II.

2) Keep my Mesa Bass 400+, replace the driver tube from a 12ax7 to a 12au7 (love the amp but it's just a tad to growly as is), buy an entire set of replacement tubes as backup (all 16), AND get a cheaper solid state Mesa amp to use at home/house practices.


I'm leaning towards the Mesa but only slightly. I'm looking for something that would be so sonically good that I don't GAS for amp for another decade or two but also something that is easy to move around, can be played at low volumes, or even can be played without being hooked up to a cab but with headphones (since I have all those kiddos coming).

It seems to me, if you're gasin' for something else now, you will be later. You've been on the hunt for the perfect 10 year amp and keeping your MESA didn't seem to really be a thought. I do like the idea of a smaller extra amp that could be used at home for practice, with headphones for quiet times, and a backup with a DI out just in case...
