Not in the market for a Metron but always on the look-out for good deals on buttloads of other stuff.

Thinking about taking a Jomox T-Rackonizer in trade for a drum machine.
Anyone here used a T-Rackonizer? It looks fucked up and awesome.

I accepted the trade for the T-Rackonizer. I am going to put it in my Benjolin rack for maximum fuck. Previously, I had a Doepfer A-103 in the Benjolin rack to act as a filter. That is the filter which mimics the famous TB-303 filter; it sounds great and I love it. But! If one is Benjolin one is fucked in the dome and perhaps would enjoy a fucked in the dome filter such as the T-Rackonizer. Plus the T-Rackonizer wields time based effects which I feel the Benjolin sorely needs.
NOTE: I have long owned a Jomox M-Res table-top effect. It gets out of control and squeal-y too often for live use but good goddamn if the original Korg Electribe ER-1 doesn't sound absolutely MASSIVE through it.

i loooooooved the OG Electribe. think i had the M? so good.
hurm. i super enjoy the Erica Synths Dual FX, watched the never ending DivKid vidja on the Black Hole 2 and.... got one coming in. might be redundant together? but the Dual. is so pimp for swishy delays and cool reverbs, i like the sounds of the Holeeee The Secondary a lot.
mighhhhhht have just ordered a Rossum Trident. loving the PanHarm, adore the Assy, and fuck me the Triddles sounds GOOD.

it's pretty freaking big, but really 10 hp an analog osc before the modulation capabilities makes it worth it?

The Jomox T-Rackonizer is a sweet fuckin' filter and has that Secret Sauce. It has that Mojo Thing. That's because analog. Although the FX are digital which is as it should be (the greatest reverb of all time is digital: Valhalla)... so you see it's the perfect marriage of what Should Be regarding a node-based filter module for eurorack synthesizers.
I would say it outshines pretty much any eurorack filter due to its unique design (crossover analog / digital) as well as its CV controls (all analog). You can, of course, insert a Stereo signal... this is long before Make Noise (or whoever else) "went Stereo"... and get a Stereo signal out. The panning FX are before their time and still have not been matched by more modern modules.
If you see a Jomox T-Rackonizer for sale, I highly recommend purchasing it and using it. Other filters are super weak and fall flat compared to the T-Rackonizer; they lack "umph" and they lack "mojo." If you are into feedbacked delay pathways... think of a mystic forest labyrinth... the Black Forest in Germany... the T-Rackonizer cannot be surpassed no matter what.
Even if Jomox published a new Rackonizer filter it wouldn't match the T-Rackonizer due to its new-old-stock chips which have that secret mojo sauce thing going... I heard they are Soviet era.

blurf. i'm really liking the idea of the Morpheus, but i'd have to take out the Synchrodyne or Aperture, which i adore both, to have room.
anybody used the Morphy? thoughts?

lol. dunno if that's how you're SUPPOSED to use it, but it took the (technically double stop?) chord of the Chainsaw and came out with different neat melodic runs from it.
