As far as recording, I push which group I want to use, find a sound. I go down to the bottom and drag it over how many bars I want the part to be. I hit shift and record so I get a one bar count in and then record the part.
JWAR, I am wondering if you are not dragging the thing where it shows how many bars because you can't just kind of freely record. It has to be kind of planned out. If you have 0 bars selected then you can't record.

That's probably what it is. I didn't know that. I thought I could just record freely. I'm going to keep messing with it and watching videos/reading the manual. Cool toy that I hope to use for teh musik.

ME. that's who motherfucker. I LOVE ME SOME CLICKETY CLICK CLINK CLINK.

urrrrrrrr........ yeah.

MOOHOOHAHAHHA. just got some (admittedly sloppy) scratch tracks done for the engineer dooder we're headed into next month, came out surprisingly decent for being 4 mics in 1 room with live takes. i'm pretty excited to hear these recorded well. we're spending the next 3 or 4 weeks ironing out all the little niggling bits. WOOT.

Haha. Yeah. I'm just being all bipolar in my amp GAS. I have a bass that has kept me totally bass GAS free for 12 years, a cab that is doing that....just trying to do the same with an amp before the babies come but.....finding one with the sound I cvet means nonquint friendly features (all tube amps that HAVE to be plugged into a speaker (no headphones) and are fucing huge.....or one with the features that would be cool but I'm not sure if the sound will be exactly what I want (solid state guy like Baer or Glock).

Lots of good amps, but if you talk to me every day this wiweek then you'll hear seven different amps I fell in love with. :!!!:

Yeah. This is it, though. This is the amp I'm going with for the next decade or two. I won't be making another amp purchase with these kids coming and my wife, love her so much, being the definition of miser. I've already got the bass and cab......just gotta settle on the amp.

MidiBase, and everything else have arrived! It got here right as I was heading out to go load equipment for a show. I got home late, plugged the bass into the midi module, then into my Venom synth...BOOM I was playing my synth. I have to set-up the bass's sensors to respond better to how I play, it may take a while to dial in because I was getting a ghost note when I released from fretting (an open note I guess), still very awesome.

Now I have to go to Tampa and I'll be thinking about the MidiBase ALL DAY!
