It's me again! :joy:

I've got another VM VI and the Musima got new pickups:

I'd like to get another VI type at one point to put flats on. Maybe a Dano Baritone Dead On 67 or something like that. I like them quirky.

I haven't got a decent picture at the moment, but I will take one if you'd like to see mine specifically.

It looks like this.

I keep thinking about this CME exclusive Squier Classic Vibe in lake placid blue with matching headstock.

The attachment IMG_2590.jpg is no longer available
New Bass Vi
Squire neck
Rosser guitars body
Rio Grande Pickups: Crunchbox, Muy Grande Bucker, Punchbox

This the first Bassvi Ive had that i actually like the way it plays, vs put up with

running Ernie Ball cobalt flats for the lows and rounds for the 2 high strings

Interesting idea mixing rounds and flats! I never managed to get my Squier to a point where it really played well. Flats were best for the lows but then the highs felt wrong for "guitar-like" playing. Maybe that's the genius solution! :!!!:

Wow, i love these. The V and the Firebird are wild!

I was thinking a lot about a fretless Bass VI lately. Has anyone tried it here? Opinions?

I sorta had one for a while… I one time stuck a crappy fretless hohner pbass neck that I added 2 more tuners to on a heavy metal guitar body that had a Floyd rose.. it was fun for crazy stuff

I need to also post a update on the stingray.. I made a purple body for the burst one.. but today I'm posting the rework of my eastwood hooky bass vi.. The body and using a 8 string GUITAR pickup was not working and particularly when gig-ed. So I made a new body [traced my 12 string I built] and the same pickup as my 12 [nordstrand big blade man] so all the same settings work.. it sounds and plays so much better!

Update #2
I got a new neck for the fenderbird from musikraft
The squire neck was too temperamental with weather and too small for me for how I play
Specs: one piece construction, dual action truss rod, 1.75” nut width, 60s pbass neck shape, jumbo frets, reverse headstock. They did a wonderful job, as good or better than anything I’ve had from warmoth or freestone, I haven’t seen this a set of 110s on it and t needed almost no adjusting.
